Included in the collection is a ledger of items purchased by
Pastor Witt from 1885 to 1906. |
| HISTORY : |
John Hutchinson Witt was the minister of the First United
Methodist Church of McKenzie, Tennessee from 1872 to his death in
1915. He was born near Paris, Tennessee in 1832 and had preached
in various localities in West Tennessee until he was assigned as
pastor of the Methodist church of McKenzie. |
